As a year-round cyclist, I am increasingly aware of more and more cyclists commuting to work each day.
Chicago in January is not pretty. Freezing temperatures, sleet and gray fill each day during the depths of winter. It takes a hardy person, who loves cycling, to climb onto the saddle and make his or her way to work each morning.
I also notice that almost without exception, each rider is wearing heavy, gray or black outfits. While wardrobe must be functional in this extreme climate, no one says you can’t look good while you pedal.
Just because the weather is dismal doesn’t mean your wardrobe has to be.
