Cruiser Republic was born from the hunt for top quality City Bikes, stylish Cycling Apparel and Accessories for everyday riders and the emerging cycling culture. The founders of the company couldn't find what they were looking for in the mainstream bicycle industry. As such, brothers William and Peter Greenbaum, who are both avid commuter cyclists, realized commuters wanted more great bikes, lower prices, chic cycling apparel and uber cool accessories that you can wear all day.
The wheels started to turn and Cruiser Republic was launched in 2015 with a carefully curated mix of online retail products worthy of the urban rider. The company has a number of concept stores in development in Vancouver, Toronto, Seattle and Chicago focusing on the Fashion and Lifestyle industry in its primary markets such as Canada, the United States, Asia and Australia.
Cruiser Republic has a passion for excellence -- reflected in everything it does. The company aims to encourage as many people as possible to adopt a stylish two-wheeled approach, and supports global sustainability and green transportation initiatives. As for philanthropy, through its not-for-profit, Billy's Bikes for Honduras, Cruiser Republic donates lightly-used bicycles to children in Siguatepique to enable easier school travel, more classroom time and a healthy lifestyle alternative to gangs or drugs.
